Hokano Japanese Restaurant
One of my friend came across this small(half a shop) japanese restaurant in Uptown. Its on the same row as Maybank facing LDP.
The place isn't that cramp up as it looks. When I got there, there were a few tables with family with children. So it looks like a family friendly place. Note that there are only limited places to seat in there.
Food is really worth it and nice. They have mostly set meals (i think). Price is very reasonable.
The shop closes on Sundays.
Address:
74, Jalan SS21/35
Damansara Utama
The salmon set - 1 big piece of salmon with vege, soup, beancurd, dessert, rice and salad
Cost about RM 18
Comes with sweet and juicy watermelons and beancurd
Kanozen - 3 pieces of sushi, 3 slices of sashimi, tempura with 2 prawns, salad, soup, rice and 3 slices of unagi and dessert.
Cost is about RM23.50
So total price for meals + drinks = about RM43. All I can say is I'm a happy customer!

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in The Curve
Its been a very long time since I've posted anything....time to it moving again...
Have been passing by this shop everytime I'm in The Curve. One day, I've decided to give it a try. Its a cosy place, but I find that the chair is to close to the table...Other than that, everything looks like you are in a cowboy/oldies town.
Didn't ate much, just chillie shrimps and salmon. Price is ok(moderate), since you get nice and fresh shrimps.
The table has cute picture of a shrimp!
How to stop a waiter/waitress? Just flip the chart from Run Forest Run to Stop Forest Stop!
Menu on a pingpong bat!

Thai Snacks
One of my colleagues just came back from Thailand and brought back some of their local snacks.
Taste a bit like our own Penang snacks though... =P

Korean Tea
Was at this Korean salon and the hair dresser gave me a box of Korean teabags.
It smells and taste like green tea + toast or something...can't really find the word for it.
Anyway.. 1st time drinking it and its nice. Everyone should go try it...though I dunno where you can get it..LOL..
